The privilege blindness is SO HARD to get past. Someone has to be really committed to basically trusting another person to call it out in them and then start to notice the patterns in it so they can learn to recognize it on their own and then be CONSTANTLY VIGILANT to its presence and how it crops up… None of it is easy, but that first step is by far the hardest. And trying to get someone there…dear heavens…it can be so difficult.
