The vibe hasn't changed - I've been here since mid-2019 and it's always had the same social issues (including nonstop harassment of female writers and an absence of leadership showing up to protect us). But wow, I question what this platform is doing behind the scenes when it comes to the female writers. I have 800+ articles in my backlog and only about 30 of them get views each month. My views have dropped by 75% in the past month for no apparent reason. And over the past six months, my follower count has come to an almost standstill. I really do wonder if some of us are getting shadowbanned.

I wish I had the fortitude, knowledge, skill, and energy to rally the female writers of Medium and start our own platform where our voices would be as well-distributed as the bro-writers here.
