There’s a false equivalence she’s making here that men who get married right away and stay married are good (whatever “good” means). Good partners exist everywhere and pairs converge and split with regularity, so there’s really no such thing as missing the boat. And it’s highly likely that those of us who have never been married would still have found ourselves single in our forties, even if we had been married to a “good man.”
