These are big, important questions, and I think you might never know the answers, but we all know how big a part culture/society plays in this. Knowing that, you are in a powerful position of influence, as are the other women in your son’s life. And using that to wake him up to patriarchal conditioning is maybe the best you can do. I can’t imagine the challenges of this, but remember to give yourself grace as a woman (and mother) existing in a patriarchy. ❤
