Think of it this way: Men’s chests are sexualized to a degree. Anyone who is attracted to men is aroused by the sight of a male chest, I would imagine. (I certainly am.) Look at all the magazines and movies that feature shirtless men with bulging pecs.

And yet…that’s still considered acceptable. Men can still have sexy chests (as our culture defines “sexy”) and yet they are allowed to show those chests in public.

I don’t see what orgasms have to do with it — most of my lovers (male) requested lots of nipple play, asking me to pinch and suck on their nipples. Our bodies are wired much the same way, which means men can have nipple orgasms, too. As I wrote in this piece, our chests are almost exactly identical in form and function — it’s just fat deposits and “activated” mammary glands that differentiate us.

I don’t think breasts need to be COMPLETELY de-sexualized. But humans find sexiness in a very wide range of visual cues. The fact that we focus solely on this hyper-sexualization of the breasts is simply to, as I mentioned, control the female body.

Thanks for reading!
