This is a harder one for me. My mom, flawed as her own understandings were, probably taught me the healthiest lessons about myself and sex than anyone else. Still a lot of toxic shit (including the crap about what I was wearing), but also…I cannot help but think of her as being equally victimized. It’s a very complicated issue.
