This is fascinating, and something I’ve thought about a lot. Break the chain. I don’t need to give someone who isn’t sorry absolution or further access to me. But I do believe in breaking the chain. Don’t perpetuate the violence onto others. It stops here. That’s far more important to me than forgiveness!
