I think it is TOTALLY NORMAL for any one of us to be attracted to someone else, even to the point where it makes us question our current relationship. I don’t think this is evidence of being a “shit-bag” but just normal human feelings.

I think it’s a testament to you AND your relationship that you remained steady. I don’t think it is necessarily wrong to end a relationship, even for another person — sometimes, that just happens. But clearly, you and your wife were meant to be together and this strengthened your bond. That’s lovely.
