This is something that is so prevalent in American female culture. Motherhood is the first go-to for women my age to bond with and being asked how many kids I have so often and having to say, “None,” is…it can be challenging. And I have no idea how men feel about women and motherhood, but I can’t help but notice that the men I’ve dated who are fathers did not treat me as well as the women they dated who were mothers. I can’t help but wonder if they think I’m less valuable because I’m not a mother…or maybe I’m just projecting (which is entirely possible, LOL). In any case, this is part of my journey at this stage in my life. Examining this. ❤
