We are still in the very early stages of defining the nuances of this kind of thing (which is sad considering that it's 2021). It is very hard to determine whether or not report something because as you said, it could ruin a man's life. On the other hand, they must be held accountable for even these smaller transgressions. All of it counts.

But how do we do that? Who's in charge of regulating that? I mean...this isn't an easy thing to figure out.

In the meantime, I'm sorry that happened to you. I think just writing about it is in service to the cause and a way that will bring justice back into alignment. As for the rest, I probably would've dealt with this the same way you did. <3
