Well, as you know, I love both tactics. And I only just found my anger a few years ago, so I treasure its sharpness and precision.

I guess the only thing that troubles me about this subject, in general, is that it's such a gendered conversation. How many times do we hear men talking about how they deliver their messages or debate the tone in which they communicate? It doesn't matter if they are angry or gentle - there's no moral weight to it one way or the other.

I feel like women have been indoctrinated with this idea that being angry and hard isn't spiritual, kind, feminine, or effective. That we have to be soft and gentle if we want our words to make an impact.

I would love to see this whole thing reversed - let's let men debate about the morality and effectiveness of their anger while women can just speak however they want for a few years and see what happens. LOL.
