Well done! I relate to this so much. I have this issue with medication, as well. I had to really do some serious soul-searching about the vaccination. There was part of me that really didn't want to do it. But ultimately, the benefits outweighed everything else.

I love you for the birth control shout-out. My sister did the same thing when J&J was paused the day after her husband got it. "Funny how no one has paused the Pill in all these years for causing the same problem. Apparently, women just have to suck it up," she said.

Anyways, I'm very nervous for my second dose, as well, but also very excited. Again, I'm focusing on the outcomes: I get to freely see my parents and some of my immunocompromised friends and family members without quarantining anymore. That's worth everything to me.
