What Do Men Actually Want? Do They Even Know?

Their actions aren’t matching their words…

If you ask a woman what she wants, she will most likely tell you. It’s 2025. We’ve gotten loud.

In fact, if we’re being honest, she’s probably already talked about it. She’s declared it on social media. Said it on every first date. If you don’t know, it’s probably because you aren’t listening.

It’s not a universal answer, but you’ll definitely learn about the wide variety of what women want if you are paying attention.

Yet as much as we hear “not all men,” when it comes to what men want (or do), the narrative seems to imply “all men.” I’m not suggesting all men actually do feel one way or even that all men are participating in the voicing of what men want, naming the same specifics. It’s more that the male demographic that is speaking out the loudest is the most insistent that their definitions of masculinity and what masculine men want are being positioned as the standard every man does (or should) strive toward.

And yet, there seems to be a disconnect in the messaging — one that is becoming so glaring, it’s starting to undermine the whole campaign.

In fact, I’m starting to wonder if these men have any idea what they want…
