WHOA. I never said people shouldn’t have children. That isn’t anywhere in my article or in anything I’ve ever written, nor is that something I believe. Do not put words into my mouth, especially when you can fact check them on the page. I’m gonna come out ahead on that one, I can promise you.

I also never said people who have children are ruining the world or are racist. Wow. That’s a pretty big leap. I think you need to read this more carefully.

I said pronatalism is racist (and sexist, and…). Pronatalism is not the same thing as parenthood.

The argument that we should have more people so we can treat them equally as potential saviors of humanity seems pretty out there to me, considering the fact that we live in such a hierarchical system of oppression. We don’t have equality now…why would you expect that we’d suddenly have equality if we just had more kids? How about we fix that problem before we bring more children into it?
