Yeah, I can’t imagine that these people didn’t have arguments if she claims he was emotionally abusing her. It just kills me that I believed her and all the others who talked about how perfect their relationships were. I think it’s so damaging to perpetuate the idea that when you’re with the “perfect person” everything will be…well, perfect.

P.S. So glad your cat is okay. That happened to my dog a year before he passed away — almost died early by being mauled by my neighbor’s pitbull. One of the most traumatizing moments of my life, to witness that.
