Yeah, I will never understand that. Most of my friends were so excited to change their last names, and for some reason, that one really stuck with me. WHY? I don’t want to be someone else’s name. I’m already conflicted with the fact that my name is my father’s father’s father’s…etc. name.

I want my OWN name. And my own identity. And to never feel so totally alone in a partnership as I have in the past. I’d rather be on my own.
