Yep on all of this. I often have these moments of realization remembering all the times I've gone out on a date and told three friends where I was going and when I'd be back. All the times I brought a baggy sweater just in case I felt it would be safer to cover up. All the times I joked with a guy, "Please don't kill me and leave me in a ditch somewhere."

It's sickening to think how normal this is for us. And it damn well shouldn't be.
