Yes, I am aware of the history and chose not to include it because I think its current definition has been co-opted to the point of making the two iterations so different that the information seemed semi-irrelevant here (at least for the sake of brevity). I still object to the term “involuntary,” however, in any iteration. It has very problematic connotations.
