YES! I can so relate to this. I’ve had those one-sided friendships where one person was sexually interested in the other, but it was made clear that one person wasn’t interested in that, and so we just went on with it. And sometimes the friendship faded away and others it just trucked on ahead, no issues. And I love that friendships can be SO deep and impactful in ways that romantic entanglements sometimes are not.
