Yes. I keep hearing that it’s not that big a deal, that the numbers are exaggerated, but my entire life, I have been surrounded by women who have been abused or assaulted. I remember being so scared as a teenager because I knew so many of my friends were being molested by their fathers or stepfathers and I didn’t know what to do about it. And then we grew up and it happened with our boyfriends and husbands. Never ended…
