YES! It’s just an expectation that the single/childless people will adjust to everyone else. It’s so expected that we don’t even think about it. And I mostly don’t mind, but there is a dynamic this creates: that we become planets revolving around everyone else’s suns. And so we have to be mindful to center ourselves as much as possible — because no one else will take care of that for us (nor should they).
