Yes, that is true. I wrote it because I often get emails from men who offer me advice and critique my life choices — men I have never met or talked to before. They tell me I made poor choices in the past and give me advice on how to do better in the future.

This was my way of telling that story and celebrating the very few men I’ve met recently who NEVER offer me advice unless I ask for it, who never seem to judge me or my choices, who just appreciate me for who I am. :)
