YESSSSSSSSSSSSS. Oh my gosh, there is so much in your comment. This is the deeply layered stuff that we are feeling and processing. I so get this. I hope you are able to find that balance between telling your story but not feeling like you have to explain yourself. It’s hard because our culture puts the onus for all of it on us. But I tell myself that the more I share, the more I help people develop cultural competency about this issue. And that’s so important to me.
