You are absolutely right — especially in pandemic times. This is something I have a hard time tackling in a 1500-word essay. It IS real life now. It is a HUGE part of my real life, and I’m not even talking about the social media aspect. And there are a lot of good things about it. I just have NO IDEA how to navigate this world. With tech companies using it to manipulate people for profit, it feels like a funhouse from a horror movie sometimes. But we have to learn our way through it because it is here to stay, for better and worse. Thank you for bringing this up!
