You have to remember that women have been deeply conditioned to NOT do this. I don’t know if a man can really understand this (simply because it’s the opposite of what you have been taught), but we have been taught that showing sexual desire is the ULTIMATE shameful behavior.

Some women get over this. Some do not.

It has taken me years to get to this point where I feel more emboldened to speak up for my desire and show it with touch or other body language. And believe me, sometimes I have to pay a steep price for that.

It’s not about you, I promise. You just have to remember the cultural messages women have received. We are not supported in showing our sexual desire in this culture. And it doesn’t mean we aren’t interested.
